365 Days Of Junk - Day 331

Vintage Sombreros

Here are two sombreros. They clearly have some age to them, and are not in perfect condition. One is blue and the other is burgundy. The blue one is in slightly better shape than the burgundy one. They were both made in Mexico. I paid $1.00 for each of these in a local thrift store! Can you believe it????

365 Days Of Junk - Day 330

Baker Furniture Table

This is a table from Baker Furniture. It is square shaped with one drawer in the front. It is probably tall enough that you can push a chair or chairs under it, to use it as a desk or a kitchen/dining table. The veneer on the top is just beautiful. It has really simple, elegant, and classic lines. It does have some scratches on the top, one is fairly deep. I think a professional could make it look nearly new without too much work. Here's the good part... I found it in a local Goodwill Store and paid $10.91 for it! Can you believe it? What a great find!!!!!!

365 Days Of Junk - Day 329

Orange Ceramic Bookends

I love these! They are ceramic bookends. They are super heavy. I guess bookends need to be heavy in order to hold books! Anyway, these are orange, but the look sort of brown in the pictures. They have a gold, flower-shaped medallion in the middle. I bought the from a Goodwill Store for around $6.00.

365 Days Of Junk - Day 328

Original Abstract Painting

This is a large original abstract painting. It is approximately 3 feet by 4 feet. It has lots of blues and greens with a pop of orange in the middle. I found it in a Goodwill Store. I honestly cannot remember how much I paid for it. I may have paid as much as $49.94 (because it is huge), but I could have paid as little as $29.92. It is hard to keep track, sometimes.

365 Days Of Junk - Day 327

Vintage Chair Earlon Furniture Inc.

Here is a break from all of the coats & jackets that I have been posting! This is a vintage chair from Earlon Furniture. It is in great condition! I just love this chair. It has a great yellow, floral fabric on it, and it swivels and rocks! I found it in a Goodwill chair for $25.92. GOODWILL STORE SCORE!

365 Days Of Junk - Day 326

Vintage Ladies Trench Coat by Smug

This is a great, classic looking trench coat. It's is a women's coat, by Smug. It is in great condition with all of the buttons and ties. It's rare to find a vintage coat or jacket with all of the bits and bobs still attached. I purchased this coat in a local thrift store for less than $10.

365 Days Of Junk - Day 325

Men's Vintage Shirt by Lee

Does everyone remember when Lee clothing was "cool"??????? This is a men's shirt by Lee. Do you think this is from the 70's? I didn't double check, but I think this thing is made of polyester. Oh yeah! I am pretty sure that I found this bad boy in a local Goodwill Store, for $4.94.

365 Days Of Junk - Day 324

Ladies Vintage Blue Coat

This is a great vintage coat. I love the color. It's a little bit darker than royal blue, but not dark enough to be navy blue. It has great silver colored metal buttons. As you can see from the tag, it's from Sears. This is a thrift store purchase, and I think I paid around $9.00 for it.

365 Days Of Junk - Day 323

Vintage John Romain Purse

This is a vintage purse by John Romain. It has a canvas exterior, with burgundy leather trim & shoulder strap. Is this burgundy color, what we're calling "ox blood" these days? I found this purse in a local thrift store for $1.99 or $2.99. I can't remember exactly how much I paid for it, but it was a steal (especially since it's in great condition). I bought this particular one, a few months ago. Interestingly, I bought another one, over the weekend, from a Goodwill Store for $4.94. Bonus!

365 Days Of Junk - Day 322

Vintage Crownwear Coat

I buy lots of coats/jackets. Have you noticed? Coats and jackets are one of the few articles of clothing that I really enjoy looking for, in thrift stores. The coat section is generally smaller and easier to look through than other clothing sections.

Anyway, this is a vintage men's coat. I guess it's a trench coat. It has really great plaid lining. I bought it in a thrift store for around $12.

365 Days Of Junk - Day 321

Vintage Ladies Leather Jacket from Wilson's Leather

I think this jacket is just adorable! It s obviously vintage based on the style and the look of the tag. The style of it is super short, with a tie at the waste. I would say that it's cognac colored. The size is marked as a 14, but it seems way smaller than that to me. I cannot, for the life of me, remember how much I paid for it. I think I bought it in a local thrift store for somewhere between $5 and $10. I don't think I would have paid more than $10 for it.

365 Days Of Junk - Day 320

License Plate Purse from Little Earth

This is a license plate purse made by Little Earth. The plate is from Ireland. I just think it's adorbs! It has a hard body, obviously since it is made of a metal license plate. It sits up on 3 little metal, ball feet. It has a wrist strap and a button closure. Love it! I bought it from a local Goodwill Store for $3.53. SCORE!

365 Days Of Junk - Day 319

Vintage McGregor Golf Jacket

This is a vintage, golf jacket by McGregor. It still has the original tags on it! The outside is kind of a gray blue and the lining is off-white fleece. I just think it's great that it is vintage, but still "new" with the tags on it. I think I bought this from Goodwill, and I would have paid whatever the standard jacket price is ($5.95 I think). It's tough to keep track sometimes.

365 Days Of Junk - Day 318

Mid Century Modern Lamp

This lamp reminds me of a genie bottle! It has that kind of curvy bottle shape and is copper in color. I found it in a local Goodwill Store, and paid around $13 for it.

365 Days of Junk - Day 317

Vintage Kitchen Stool

Does anyone else remember these? My grand parent had two of them with formica tops! This is a vintage stool, probably kept in the kitchen. It is made of wood and has flowers and strawberries decoupaged on the top. It is also dated 1978. I bought this in a Goodwill Store for $4.94 or $5.95. I can't remember exactly what I paid for it. I bought it because it was cheap and cute.

365 Days of Junk - Day 316

Vintage Blue American Tourister Carry On Bag

This is a vintage carry on bag from American Tourister. I have been finding lots of these, recently. This particular one is blue. Doesn't it remind you of the flight attendants from the early 80's. I think these are so much fun. If I remember correctly, I bought this one from a Goodwill Store for $5.65.
