365 Days Of Junk - Day 219

Set Of Red Trays by Haskelite

This is a set of four small, red, Asian inspired trays, by Haskelite. The bottom reads: "Haskelite MFG Corp., Chicago, made of selected wood covered in fine lithograph paper.'' So they are made of some kind og wood and covered in paper. I am smitten with them because of the color and there vintagy (is that a word?) look, but I'm not sure what to do with them. I think they would be great to serve sushi on. I wonder if you can use them for food, since they are covered in paper? All four, depict the same scene so you wouldn't want to use them for decoration. Hmm... What to do? What to do?
