Primitive Dough Bowl
This is a primitive dough bowl or trencher bowl. I will always buy pieces like this bowl, if they are a decent price. I love wooden items, especially primitives. It is difficult to see in the pictures, but the bottom of the bowl is completely worn. Someone added the wood on the bottom to cover the hole. It also allows the bowl to sit flat, without rocking back & forth. I think this would make a wonderful decorative piece, in the kitchen.
